EPIDEMIK

I’m a Brooklyn-based DJ, curator, and the founder of Team Epidemik and Rappin Lounge. My journey into music started back in the 8th grade when I built the original Rappin Lounge online forum just to have a space to talk about the tracks I loved. Today, that middle-school passion project has expanded, with Rappin Lounge Radio operating as an additional component specifically designed to champion and enforce indie artists—broadcasting globally as a licensed station distributed by iHeartRadio. Alongside that, Team Epidemik has naturally evolved from a dedicated group of early supporters into what it is today: my full distribution and production umbrella. Between earning my BFA in Design and Technology from Parsons The New School for Design, a Master’s in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University, and learning the ropes from mentors like DJ Don Demarco and DJ Enuff, I’ve made sure to master the business and creative sides of the industry just as much as the turntables.

When I’m behind the decks, I don't like being boxed into a single genre. I blend hip-hop, R&B, and pop with Caribbean and global energy—incorporating elements of Bouyon, Jab Jab soca, dancehall, Afrobeats, and UK drill. But it’s never forced; it is always about finding the right balance that complements the exact energy of the room. That versatility has taken me from residencies at NYC spots like Ainslie Bowery and The Ready Rooftop to international stages in Belize and MSC cruise ships. On the radio side, I love programming eclectic vibes, whether I'm breaking incredible tracks across any genre on The Record Breaker Show (home of The Critical 6), diving deep into house music on the Sunset Mix, or co-curating Rocking with the DJ alongside Cuddy Rex.
